trans Bio-Filter™ is a bed of organic material which supports hybrid earthworms and microbes that break down solids and converts it to carbon dioxide, water, and nutrients. It uses the ability of the earthworms and beneficial microbes (transzyme) to reduce contaminants present in the sewage water. It involves the removal of toxic matter by adsorption and filtration followed by biological degradation and oxygen supply by natural aeration to the treatment system.
1. Collection of the sewage wastewater
2. Filtration of water with the help of microbes and cultures through the trans biofilter
3. The water treated after the biofilter process is used for gardening and other resources
